Many rumors have been widely circulating lately about Davy Jones and his girlfriend Linda Haines. Some say he's married to Linda, others say he's planning to marry her and still other sources continue to print that Linda and Davy have been secretly married for many months. Tiger Beat's only course of action was to speak with Davy directly. He explained to us that he now wishes to keep his private life private (a right he certainly has been deprived of during the last three years) and that he did not want to comment on the rumors. Tiger Beat feels we should honor Davy's privacy since he requested we do so. Many fans believe a loyal fan has a right to know everything about their fave star. How do you feel? They actually met three years ago when Linda was dating David Pearl. Things didn't work out for David Pearl and Linda, and when they broke up, Davy asked Linda for a date. That's when the romance began. Davy isn't afraid to take Linda with him to public places. She's his girl and he's very proud her. They'd been dating for a year when Davy first asked Linda to be his guest when the Monkees were in Palm Springs making their movie. Linda designs some of Davy's clothes now. For a while last year she went to Hawaii to work at a boutique designing clothes, but neither of them liked being so far apart, so she returned at Davy's request. Now they spend as much time together as possible. Their love for each other shows in many little ways. Linda appreciates Davy's love because he's always so considerate; and Davy loves Linda because she really knows him and understands his moods and responsibilities. Neither one wants to comment on all the rumors that have been flying, but Davy hasn't dated anyone else for over a year! It looks like love to us, how about you?
